Wictory Wednesday

That’s right, it’s Wictory Wednesday. I know that a lot of what you have been seeing is “vote for my guy because the other guy is sooooo bad.” I even slip into that mode too, and I don’t like it. I want to tell you why you should support Bush. Read about the strategy for National Security. This is the most rational and liberty friendly plan being offered. Don’t vote against Kerry — vote for Bush. Volunteer, donate.

Wictory Wednesday

You can tell a lot about a man by taking him shooting. Watch someone shoot, and you can learn some very useful things. You can learn about how they make decisions. You can learn how well they take instruction. You can learn how they prioritize. You can see how careful they are with the lives of others. You can see how much respect they have for the power they hold in their hands.

When he handles the weapon, is he alert? Does he pay attention to what is going on? Does he handle the weapon safely? Are his shots measured and decisive, or does he rely on a fusillade of quick shots? Does he rush in? Does he take so long that he misses his opportunity?

Earlier this week, we were given a good hard look at how John Kerry handles a weapon. It told me pretty much what I already knew.

George knows how to hunt, and he knows how to handle a weapon. These skills trancend the hunting grounds. Please help the campaign with your time or funds.

Kerry is, however, quite good at shooting vietnamese people.

Well, according to the medic that treated him for his first Purple Heart, he also is pretty good at mortaring himself, so I don’t know that we should put too much stock in his Vietnamese hits. He might have been aiming at himself and hit them by mistake.

Hmmh. A Mexican bellhop. Whodathunkit? Did you have your fro going then? A headband and a doobie hanging out of your mouth would have made it perfect.

I never dealt with the bellstaff when I was working at the Anatole, but I did spend a lot of time with the houseboys. They were guys I would want at my back, too, if it hit the fan. And I probably would have, too.

And all of the crews were a bunch of Mexican guys being supervised by a black guy who spoke Spanish. That always seemed both wrong and right to me at the same time.

This is neither here nor there but when I was a bellhop for the Holiday Inn we used to have to knock on people’s doors to do a vacancy check to see if people had checked out. They called it VC check for short. When I’d bang on the door I’d always imagine that a Vietnamese guy would open it and I’d scream “YOU VC?? YOU FUCKING VC???”
“NO NO, ME NO KNOW VC!!!”
“DEE DEE MAU!! DEE DEE MAU!!!”

    More Kerry and guns

    From the Columbia Basin Herald:

“The fact that he is a hunter and handles guns so well, I think, is also very, very helpful,” Rendell said as he accompanied Kerry on stops in three Pennsylvania counties that chose George Bush in 2000. “I’m cauti…
