Ron Paul isn’t isolationist the same way Asset Forfeiture Laws aren’t Bills of Attainder.

    Sigh. Isolationism means we would not trade with other countries. Paul is a supporter of free trade.

    He just doesn’t think we should be running the world with our guns.

    Trading partners make much better allies than servants do.

    Yes, I know what isolationism is. It has nothing to do with free trade. Ron Paul is 100% isolationist.

    I, on the other hand, consider the threat of force to be equivalent to the use of force, and therefore support military responses to those threats.
