That interaction would have ended with him on his ass with me. If you step into my path, and then step into my path again when I am trying to leave, that is illegal detainment and I will respond with force necessary to defend myself.
And if you push back, that force will quickly turn to overwhelming force.
O’Reilly showed it last night on his show – that was his producer getting manhandled by that angry dude. I thought it was interesting that Jesse Jackson stopped the exchange. I think he did it because he knew Fox’s cameras were capturing the entire episode. For once, he did the right thing.
If his feet are planted and you walk into him you get called for a charge, but if he’s moving his feet to get into your way when it happens then it’s a blocking foul.
