Nowadays, when I see a bumper sticker that says, “I voted for Obama,” I think…

Apology accepted.

Cattle Call

There’s a casting call out for people to be the “audience” for an Obama Town Hall.

Seriously.  By MTV.  Seriously.

I don’t think any further comment in necessary.

More, please

This is indeed how it is supposed to work:

Double Doublethink

The same Justice Department that determined that laws enacted to prevent racist groups from threatening violence at polling places don’t apply to racist groups threating violence at polling places, we now have an ant-trust lawsuti against American Express because AmEx won’t collude with the rest of the industry on merchant restrictions.

Antitrust violations have always centered around doing things differently than every other company in the industry.  We have always been at war with Eastasia.  War is peace.  Slavery is liberty.  Doublethink is every citizen’s duty.

Told You So

A judge barred prosecutors Wednesday from calling their most important witness at the first civilian trial of a Guantanamo Bay detainee, delaying the trial and delivering a setback to the government’s effort to build criminal cases with evidence gleaned from harsh CIA interrogations.

If only someone could have warned us!
