Stop Snitching

Snitches get stitches.

Seriously, can Obama somehow become more of a bitch before the election?

Random Food Rant

Dear world:

Mealy cheese is not a substitute for bachamel in lasagna.  It’s just mealy cheese, not a delicious creamy sauce.

So the cops in Fullerton beat a homeless guy to death.  Then, when people show up to protest it, they give tickets to anyone who supports the protest.

Instapundit puts it best.

Nobody respects you guys when you act this way. You merely take a crap on your badge and uniform. And when budget cuts come up — and they will — a lot of people who might have stood up for you will decide not to bother. Just so you know.

And when all the crap piles up in incident after incident, people like me, who would be your natural allies, see you as much the enemy as the criminals.  There are the law abiding, and criminals — half the criminals wear their gang colors with bandannas, and the other half wear their colors with badges.

The Not So Big Speech

“There’s no question the president will want to keep returning to jobs,” one top aide told Fox News. “I don’t want to downplay the speech [next week] — it’s going to be substantial. But the idea that this is the be-all and end-all is wrong.”One scenario being discussed by White House aides is the president highlighting individual economic proposals at appearances around the country throughout the fall, just as the Republican presidential candidates are ramping up the sales pitch for their own economic proposals.

So, in other words,  instead of dealing with jobs now, Obama would rather dole the “solutions” out over time to make him look better on the campaign trail.

The Enemies of Civilization

Now, the Enemies of Civilization are against food.  This authoritarian group really is against everything that democratizes modern life.

They are against cheap electricity.  They are against cheap lightbulbs.  They would prefer that poor people sit in the dark.

They are against cheap gasoline and affordable cars.  They would prefer that poor people  be at the mercy of the city bus schedule.

They are against allowing poor people to defend themselves.  They would prefer that guns be expensive, and that you have to be politically connected to arm yourself.  They would prefer that poor people be a the mercy of police response times.

Now, they are against the very food that has allowed poor people to be able to consume so many calories that they can get fat.  They want poor people to have to spend more of their meager money on food.  For Their Own Good.

These people are my enemies and yours.  They want a world where they have a nice, safe, pristine planet — while everyone else, “those people”, starves at home in the dark and the cold, waiting in fear for a predator to target them.
