The Real Folk Blues

I’ve been watching Cowboy Bebop on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim, and tonight is the night for The Real Folk Blues Part 2. I’m dreading it. I’ve seen the Bebop series three times already, but this fourth time is my first one in English. I watched it in English once midway through my first viewing, and I hated it. I’m still not fond of it. I think that the English voice actors are good, but they don’t fit the characters.

I’m already avoiding the subject. The Real Folk Blues. I’m going to cry. Again. I know it, and I am going to watch anyways. I picked up this time at Toys in the Attic and I feel like I owe it to Spike and Faye to watch. The thing that worries me is that Trigun comes on right before, and it seems like it is winding down. If it ends tonight too, and Vash the Stampede doesn’t make it, I’m going to be a blubbering sobbing mess before The Real Folk Blues ends. I don’t know what is going to happen in Trigun because this is my first trip all the way through, but it has been taking a really melancholy turn lately.

I checked the Adult Swim Schedule and The Trigun Episode Guide, and Bebop and Trigun are both starting over tomorrow.

That means that this is the last episode of Trigun. I’m not reading the episode guide, because I don’t want spoilers. I just hope that it is a happy ending. You can’t show two sad endings in one night. Are you listening, Adult Swim? That’s like serving all the curry at once in a restaurant with one bathroom. You just can’t do that and have things not get ugly.

Trigun comes on at midnight Central. Cowboy Bebop comes on at 12:30 Central. Joe Bob says check them out. Tomorrow morning is going to be hard.
