There is something remarkably comforting about being in a place where people say “Howdy”, and it isn’t a punchline.

    I say howdy all the time. Funny thing is I never once said it when I lived in Texas.

    And I would have beat you for messiest desk but I just cleaned mine this week at the behest of my boss. Last summer I was throwing away newspapers from the year 2000 (no kidding, I had a drawer stashed with old newspapers.)
