  1. Chatting with your commanders in the field more than once every three months or so is a good idea also.

  2. Yeah. I find it curious that a guy with zero military experience is our Commander in Chief and equally odd that he’s refusing to listen to a guy that has loads of military experience. What does Obama think he is? Omniscient? I’m fairly certain that if you’re a leader and you’re clueless in some areas of governing, it is useful to employ those that know more than you do, and to actually listen to them when they advise you. But maybe I am smoking crack.
