A good article on the separation of school and state.

The only thing missing is the reminder that a single woman who weighs 100 lbs doesn’t even get taxed the same as the family of 14 — she’s taxed more.

    Wouldn’t the family of 14 need a bigger home than the 100 lb single woman? Since that correlates with home prices I would expect her to be paying a lower tax bill, assuming that neighborhood and income were comparable.

    Not necessarily. And I’m sure that the tax deductions would come into play as well.
