N.R.A. vs. Obama vs. Obama vs. Obama

The NRA Attacks Obama in a Video saying that he’s an arrogant elitist for sending his kids to a school with armed guards (on top of the Secret Service) while calling the NRA deranged for asking for the same protection for all schoolkids.  The White House responded:

“Most Americans agree that a president’s children should not be used as pawns in a political fight,” said Jay Carney, the White House press secretary.

Then, Obama went and did his little Executive Order circus:

Obama And Biden Unveil Proposal To Decrease Gun Violence In U.S.

Surrounded by children who are being used as pawns in a political fight.

Oh, and one of the executive orders was to put more cops in schools.

Just like the NRA originally asked for.

Using the slaughtered children of you peasants as pawns in a political fight is just ducky, though.
Is it just me or would anyone else like to see how Carney’s head fits a Loulsville Slugger?

No children should EVER be used as pawns to further a political agenda. But just because one side of the issue does it, that does not make it OK for the other side to do it now. The President’s children are protected not just for their own sake, but for protection of the nation as well. What man could make rational decisions if his children were put in harm’s way by some lunatic? I’m not saying that our current officeholder makes very many rational decisions, but at least their not affected by some nutcase threatening his children.

To be clear, I did not vote for President Obama in either election, I find him arrogant and repugnant, but he is still my country’s President and I will respect that office. Joe Biden is a buffoon who would die if breathing required actual thought.

My best wishes to President Obama and I hope he actually achieves good things, even though I don’t think he’s going about it the right way. But if America prospers, I’ll change my tune. God bless us all and really, we can do without the comments of doing violence to anyone.

AUGGGH!! I wrote “their” instead of “they’re” in that post. I hate it when that happens.
